Idyllic from our hotel window, grass nestled against the sand, ocean waves break salty wetness, onto a quickly drying strip. Colored smells merging, nostalgic rhythm awakening feelings. The postcard promised idyllic. You, determined long ago in this seaside town. You, called me back, dared me to relive it, to get over it.
